Schmelkin and Hooters are in

Alex Schmelkin, a former apprentice of mine, is cooking wings for the core hunt team on Sunday at noon on Manhattan's upper east side. I will recuse myself from the judging. No one will be prouder if Alex wins the top prize.

After that, we go to Hooters on Time Square. eta: 2:30 p.m.
